no need to pull it out....get a wire or something and match it to the oil feed line. take out the wire and measure that.

Well if I am going to replace it, might as well pull it out now.

Ummm a chunk of the braiding is missing... I don't think it's leaking, but those are chances I am not willing to take.

You guys are doing your own braided ss lines right? ie.. cutting the line and installing the end fittings? How do you guys do that? Would be much easier than the hard line bending kit I was thinking of buying from Eastern tools.

Not sure what D is doing. If you want instructions on how to make SS lines, PM ejj (or delio). I gave him, ejj, a detailed write-up of how I did mine.

I already looked...I cleaned out my PM box a while back and lost them. However, I think I emailed to delio, so they should be in my saved messages on my computer at home. I'll look tonight.

cut the line to size. take the lower sleeve from the AN fitting and slide it on the line 1st..then jam the rest of the fitting to the end of the hose. slide the coupling up and screw it on until it's tight.

hard line is better and more reliable only if it's done correctly.

Don't forget to tape up the frizzy end or your fingers/hands will get pricked.
