chrome evo 5?

i'm getting 18's for my birthday, and i really like the miglia evo 5s, but i've only seen them on maxes with silver finish. i'm a young guy and i'd rather have the bling factor than the speed(max is already fast enough for me).so, would anybody recommend that i get 18" chrome miglia evo 5s? any reason why i shouldn't? tirerack has them with kuhmo rubber for about 2200, so i might get them soon.

thanks,
WInd

you will be blingling like just about everyone else on here. Those rims are pretty popular.

don't let kloogy know you want those, he'll rip you to shreds. IMHO, they are very nice rims and compliment a Max nicely. most people on this forum will tell you they're overplayed, which is somewhat true. check out big h's wheels, they are sick, and i think you can get them in 18's

the rims are overplayed on the org. however ive seen only one max on evos around me. just because they are overplayed on the net doesnt mean they are everywhere. if you want bling check out the heavy but tight looking lexani marqi rims.

i love the evo 5's and while they are popular on the .org, i live in a really small town where there are very few vehicles with rims. after i get mine i'll be the 5th person in my school to ride on chrome so i'm not worried about getting a popular set of rims. btw, the chrome 19's look sick as hell. i'm def going with the 18's, thanks for the help guys

Not to steal this thread...but i went down to a wheel shop and asked for chrome 18's evo 5. with tires: 2400 Is this reasonable. the tires are falkens. Thanks.

The rims a peice are 259 and they would chrome it for 125 a pop...

had it special ordered through tirerack. they actually had to send the rims to get plated first. then, one of the rims got bent in shipping...waited like 3 months to get the rims. but well worth the wait.

i would get better tires, but $2400 sounds reasonable.

It think that you could go with a better tire than Kuhmos or Falkens.

I got these prices.

18" Chrome Mille Evo5 with Nitto 555 Extremes (245/40-18) = $2,111
18" Chrome Mille Evo5 with Yokohoma AVS ES100 (245/40-18) = $2,255

And if you wanted to go with a smaller tire size

18" Chrome Mille Evo5 with Yokohoma AVS ES100 (235/40-18) = $2,182
