gas is leaking out of some where near my filler tube but i cant find a hole anywhere. can someone please help me out with posible areas to look is this a common problem. please help.

If you haven't had your fuel filler pipe replaced via recall then get it if you can, otherwise check the fuel hose connecting the filler pipe to the tank. You most likely have a small tear at the fitting. Get a new section of hose or go buy some fuel line tape and fix the hose.

gas bypass tube connected to the filler tube and the tank might be it.

 

yes i had a breather that runs from my gas tank under the rear left wheel and it had worn out , so everytime i filled up with gas i would lose most of it b.c when i turned off the max, the pressure
in the tank was released and then the tube would expand and the gas would leak from the crack.,. very dangerous, i dint notice til i kept smelling gas and my nose lead me to the rear where i litteraly saw dribbles of gas coming down.. quick fix..
