Me too and it looks much better when you could throw a PIAA bulb in there.

yes its possible just like what pest2001 said just take a needle nose and pull the orange piece out. all i did was just break off the black outline that goes around the orange piece and then i pulled the orange piece out without breakin' it. i've had like this for about 4 years now and i only had one dumb cop get next to me just to tell me to put amber bulbs in the back which this was 2 months ago down where i use to live in miami, fl.

You are a puss. You dont need those lights to look like. But have it your way this is just my opinion.

Has anyone tried to take out the amber part out of the front corner lenses before? Is it the same as the rear blinker? Just curious. I guess you could always buy the clear corners...just curious. I already had the clear corners and they keep fogging up? My clears that I purchased are from Taiwan and they just don't offer the same quality as the originals.

Well, first it depends on which 3rd gen you have. 89-91 are much more difficult to do this to because the the orange lense is attached to the back side of the outer lense. 92-94s are easier because the orange lens is just held in by the black trim. You can just beak the little lip on the black trim that holds the orange piece and slide it right out.

It sounds like El Niņo has a 89-91, otherwise he wouldnt have this much trouble. Is your orange piece smooth or is it grooved?

Oh yeah, an a little tip for you guys. You can make your front turn signals look more "Euro" as well. All you do is take out the plastic reflector that is inside the light (carefully). It will look excellent in person, but that also depends on the condition your turn signal lenses are in also.
Here is an example:
