ECU reseting. Yes, another post.

I have a 2000 SE max and I got the instrustions on hot to reset the ECU on a 2002-2003. Anybody done this to a 2000 and do they have the instructions

Better yet... if someone reading this thread has a 2000-2001 ESM, PM me. I know I don't have a 2000-2001 ESM, but I can help you find it inside the manual.

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery overnight and it should reset that way...ive done it once or twice and it worked both times.

I'll try it. But I heard that doesn't really do it. I'll do that this weekend.

Sometimes it works and sometine not..Best way is just to goto like autozone who do it for free. They'll clear the codes in 2 secs with their scanner.
