I need to replace my rear rotors, so i think i'm going to go with the stillen cross-drilled rotors. Any good or bad experience with these? How big a difference i braking do they make?

if you do just the rear you wont notice much. the fronts do most of the breaking on our cars

 

depending on what you have up front I say buy those and put them up front and put the ones up front in the rear. Like Chris said the rears you will not really notice a difference

fronts and rears aren't interchangeable. they're different sizes

Rotors only, no big difference. Add the Metal Matrix pads and braided stainless lines and now you have something. I've had this set-up on my car for 5-6 years now. Works great. Still same set of rotors. Never cracked. Never had to be turned down either. Wearing pretty smooth.
Yea, big difference on front and rear rotors. Fronts vented. Rear is a single, solid rotor. Much thinner. Stillen even had me find out what the production date was on my car 'cuz they said the thickness of the rear rotors changed.
Just doing just the rear will be hardly noticeable like Chris said. The front is where it's at.
Gotta hit the sack now. Leaving Friday morning for a nice 3 day weekend in Annapolis. Taking the new 2K3 for it's first little road trip.

 

I'm almost 99% sure, but, just to make sure, you can't resurface the rotors, correct? Thanks!

 

Not meant to be really, but a guy who knows what he's doing on a brake lathe can. Not impossible. Interrupted cuts are a bugger though.

The guy told me that the motorcycle rotors he's turned have all been slotted and those turn easily. So, he turned mine (slotted). But, of course like said before, they have to know what they're doing. Can't go too fast or try to take off too much at one time. It took a while.
