tokico suspension installation???

tokico suspension installation???

i need help?? i bought some tokico shocks for my 90 maxima and my machanic said that the back ones wont fit b/c they dont have that lil cup thing on it and it wont hold the springs?? so i dont know what to do, or where to get the cups or how did u guys install them?? or did it came with the cups ?? i need help please let me know what to do? thanx d-dog

you may need to use a different mechanic. They dont have the cup because they are inserts. He has probably never done a max rear suspension or he would know that.

If you still want to use him and trust him then go back and tell them they are inserts for the rear struts and the rear struts come apart for you to insert the inserts.

I have done this and so has several on this board so I know it to be fact.

You definitely need to go to another mechanic, this one sounds like a butt hole.
