Hi,

I have a 98 Max SE 5spd with 110K on the speedo.
Yesterday the Airbag light started to blink after starting the car up to go home after work.
I haven't had any service, other than a carwash in the past week.

I read a post somewhere that said that if I turn the ignition key on (without starting) and cycle the door ajar switch 5 times within 7 seconds the light might reset (off).

Now my light is in some sort of diagnostic mode...it blinks with a pattern of 2 long blinks, then a pause followed by 2 short blinks and then it repeats.

Does anyone have any idea where I should look first? A wiring harness? A fuse?
