Tranny/ no power problem

Background info: I'm boosted with 11 lbs.... had a new tranny put in 6000 miles ago. Stage 3 vb mod by jeff, hayden tranny cooler. All maintenance done on time.

Problem: so i proceed to drive the car out of the parking lot with a lot of gusto in 1st... and i stop the car to turn onto the main street... No power... I switch through all gears, nothing... stop the car, and restart it, nothing....It's like the clutch was being held in on a 5spd...

So my buddy steve aka Aznstevie helps me push it into a lot, and he somehow manages to get it running again.. Shifted through all gears fine.

I checked the tranny fluid level, and there was bout a half inch of fluid on the dipstick. I proceed to fill up the level to bout 2 inches up the stick. I drove home with no problems... and actually it drove a little better.. I added a total of 1 quart....

I also had a problem the other day with it stalling when the car was cold and i tried shifting into gears... It felt like my torque convertor/ vb were crapping out on me..

Thoughts? Ideas?

What did he do to get your running again? That would be the place to start your trouble shooting.

Same thing happened to me when I put my sticky (fun rated) summer tires on. I took my favorite turn at a descent rate of speed, come out of it and the car was in neutral. Talk about bouncing off the rev limited

We figured out that my buddy in the passenger seat wasn't expecting me to take that turn quite so fast and knocked the shifter our of drive with his knee.
