Need a new battery and opinions!

I was looking at either the
Interstate Mega-tron 69.99
Cranking Amps: 690
Cold Cranking Amps: 550
60 limited warranty
18 month free replacement warranty

Or

Die Hard Gold South(Houston) 79.99
Not sure of CA or CCA.
3 year full replacement limited warranty
100 month limited warranty

Or does it make any difference?

I'm not really interested in the optima, I don't want
to spend the extra money and I'll never have a high
powered stereo system.

Yes, I tried search but not much info on Interstate batteries.
Thanks for your input!

if the CCA and CA on the die hard are the same or higher, get it. the warranty alone makes it worth the extra $10.

I'd go with the Die Hard. I've heard really good things about those batteries. Though, I personally opted for an Optima Red Top from Costco. Good luck.

I have a Die Hard Gold in my 97 SE, and so far, so good.

Cranks fine, never fails to start, and the 200-watt bose system works great.
