See if you can solve this one

I've been having a strange problem with the car. It lags a lot(not any sensors). Some days are better than other but one day while I was messin with some wires in the back of the radio and i finished I went for a ride. The car drove like never before. I think it's wire related. I was hoping someone could help me figure this out. Any help is appreciated

Could be that some of the wires to the ECU had a short and you jiggled them in such a way that the short was no longer occuring?

if you desribe your problem more clearly someone might have a clue of what your getting at.
