catch point for clutch

Hi,

I am gonna buy this 95 Maxima SE in a few days. The only thing about this car is that the catch point is really high for the clutch. So I am wondering if this can be adjusted on the 4th gens. I heard that only cable clutches can be adjusted and not hydraulics. With the 4th gen can I do anything about it without having to change out the whole clutch ? Also do you guys think that the car is a good deal it is a 95 SE leather with all options available, 93K miles, for $6000

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My engage point is kinda high too with my maxima, I wouldn't worry about it to much, I like it when racing, so I don't have to slam the pedal all the way to the floor to switch gears.

And personally I think its a pretty good deal for the car your looking at. Im sure you can knock off a couple hundred easy. Just check KBB.Com for the cars real value

Yes you can adjust it. I wrote about it in the FAQ above.
