First off...so it was between an 98+ accord and a 00+maxima. And after test driving both, the maxima won by a long shot. Pretty obvious...however I just did not think i would love the maxima so much.

Questions...
1. I want a SE with the sunroof, power front driver seat etc. On the option package list it shows all this in the comfort and conveience pakg along with 17s. Is there a way to get 16s and all the stuff on the c&c pkg. The car is for my wife and she felt the 17s were too hard. Plus I was told by some that the 17s don;t give enough advantage over the 16s to warrant the rough ride. (true or false..not sure, any opnions?). Plus though i would love 17s the 17s tires cost way more than 16s to replace. (Well I am sure somebody would be kind enough to trade...HEHE)

2. Majestic blue is only for 02-03, right?? I just wanted to confirm that...it really sucks since I will be getting a 00-01. I wish i could get a 02 with the HIDS and all that...but its too much.

3. I like the idea of getting cloth heated seats.. whats the chances I could find a SE , auto with the meridian pkg and c&c pkg WITHOUT the leather pkg??...(she don't want leather)

4. Are their any issues I should be aware of??

I don't believe they make the cloth with the seat heaters. Asu174 also has a really nice 00 SE fully loaded, so you may want to check his out also. www.cardomain.com/id/phatman5050

Thought 17s started with 2k2?

 

17s were an upgrade for on 2k/2k1 models. I believe they were part of the comfort and convenience package.

1. You should be able to find an SE with a sunroof and power drive seat. The C&C package came with 17s... so you'll either have to opt out of the C&C, or replace the 17s with 16s (if you really want to be that picky... sheesh... tell you wife to live with it!). Or tell you what... I will trade my g/fs 16s for your 17s... what do you think?

2. Majestic blue is only 02-03, correct. It doesn't suck getting an 00-01, just sans the HIDs (which, in some areas, present a theft risk anyway).

3. Meridian pkg only comes with leather.

Actually, the Majestic Blue was available on the 2001's, but ONLY on the 20th anniversary model.

 

that's the first time that i've ever heard of that in any brand/make!

heated seats with cloth????? checked out your page- i see the heated controls.

i'd be interested to see a thread put up to see how common this meridian with cloth is. i will do it now!

maybe it could be done by having it custom built from the factory?

But you said you don't want 17s, and the C&C comes with 17s. My offer still stands... trade the 17s for my g/fs 16s.

I would like the 17s..its my wife who thinks the ride is too too rough. Too me its a little rough but not bad. We will see...if not I am sure we can work out a deal....
