Im not sure but I think on Danimista's it says for 95-96 and the ones I have seen cutting the higher nub were 97-99s. But Im not positive.

Folks, use your heads. What you want to do is access the other filament on the bulb. The easiest way that I have found to make the bulb brighter is simply to make sure there are two nubs (making for contact of the 27Watt side of bulb). In my '98 Max, I added a "Nub" where there was a space for one (I did not already have one there). I soldered some speaker wire to the existing nub and shoved it down the hold, making a small "Nub" out of the wire and some solder. That way, you don't cut anything, and if you want to undo it, simply take out the nub you made. On the older models, there may be slight differences, but just experiment and do some thinking instead of letting others do all of the thinking for you. How do you think THEY figured it out?
