OPINIONS WANTED: Upgrading my 2002 Bose speakers to...
an Infinity set-up. I have already purchased an Infinity Basslink to replace my Bose sub and Polk EX3500 tweeters to replace the stock pillar tweeters, but I have not installed these items yet. I want to do the door speakers, but my question is this: which Infinity Kappa speakers should I get?? The Kappa 63.5 3-way component 6-1/2" or the Kappa Perfect 6-1/2"?? I know the Basslink has its own amp, but will I need an amp to maximize the door speakers?? If so, suggestions are welcome.
I am not big on knowledge of car audio, so keep that in mind, but I would like to keep it all Infinity.

None of the speakers will sound very good with the stock BOSE amp. The mids are like 1 ohm and the Infinitys will be 4. That means much less power going to them. If you are going to replace mids, put in a aftermarket amp.

WHat size amp would you suggest to run all of the above mentioned. The Basslink already has it's own amp. What size amp would I need to run the Polk tweeters and all 4 Kappa 6-1/2"s in the doors??? Could I use the Bose amp that is currently running the stock sub???
