Run-Rite Engine treatment- fuel system cleaner

Anybody have experience with this stuff? I know there is an oil treatment with this system. is it safe to let them put that oil system treatment when running synthetic such as Castrol syntec? Did you feel any benefits after doing this? Anybody do the BG one? I am talking about the intrivenus type cleaners. tx

Get the Castrol Syntec our of your car. Castrol GTX performs better then the Syntec stuff does. Don't use any oil treatments, just use good oil!
Castrol GTX
Mobil 1
Amsoil

Techron is what Nissan sells as their fuel system treatment.

Clean your throttle body - www.motorvate.ca and dump a can of Techron in the gas tank and your all set.

I use the full synthetic version of Syntec and my oil analysis' from Blackstone have been coming back looking fine. Why do you think GTX is better? It's not a full synthetic oil, right?

Wait- I thought Castrol Syntec was FULL synthetic. I am not using a synthetic blend, I saw the bottles! LOL ;-)

Maybe Castrol changed their formula. When I switched from Castrol GTX to their Syntec Blend, my Blackstone report showed more ware then normal. I switched back to GTX again and my oil analysis came back clean. I think Bill pointed out somebody else who experienced the same thing with the Syntec stuff.

There are two kinds of Syntec....the full version and the blend version. You only need to look at the price to tell which one is which.

Interesting. I went from Mobil 1 to Syntec (full syn) and my analysis came back better. However I also switched from a K&N air filter to an A'pexi air filter, so maybe that played a part as well. I'll look at the spreadsheet some more to see who else is using Syntec and what their results are...
