Is it rude if I start selling the same things he does and put a list price of $0.01?

Actually, I may just do that and point all winners to the .org than they can donate what they would have paid for one DIY tip and get hundreds in return.

anyone remember if the cars owner is still on the .ORG....I recognize the car w/scoop...

if nothing else throw up the BS flag for use of his car...unless it is his, and then we throw up the "you gotta be $hi++ing me" flag.

Here's a quote from that auction:

THE MAXIMA AND INFINITI HAVE THE SPECIAL UNIC WAY TO DETERMIN AND CLEARING ERROR CODE BY COMPLITING A CERTAIN PROCEDURE. THESE VEHICLES EQUIPED WITH A SPECIAL SYSTEM (MEMERY COMPUTER) WHICH KEPING THE ERROR CODES IN MEMERY AND DETERMIN WHAT THEY ARE. THE INSTRUCTIONS WILL INCLUDE THE PICTRURE OF THE COMPUTER LOCATION IN YOUR VEHICLE, AND DETALED RESET INSTRUCTIONS "OR IN OTHER WORDS" HOW TO COMPLITE THE PROCEDURE!

How many spelling errors do you see? I count 10. I hate it when people try to sell stuff, yet don't put in the time to spell simple words correctly. At least present yourself with at some dignity. Use that glob of matter inside your head that God gave us to think and reason with. No one should buy anything from this guy....

....although that "CEL light turner-off-er" sounds pretty coo yO

Just to add: the fact that he just LOVES TYPING IN CAPS to emphasise what a steal this idea really is makes me laugh the most. You can look at it one of two ways: a) the guy's an idiot b) he's not doing anything illegal and anyone that buys the idea will eventually learn a lesson about shopping on Ebay. And it will only have cost them $6.95; better than the tornado air I suppose

I emailed the bidder and gave him the link to do it for free.
The guy then cancelled the bid.
