Just got my windows tinted yesterday (17% all around - will post pics soon), and they guy told me not to open them for a week,

I spoke to a friend and he said he opened his within 2 days and nothing was wrong. Is there a happy medium somewhere in there?

 

Wait a couple of days. Leave it out in the sun and let it cook. But dont roll them down until they are dry.

 

There are still little swirl marks on the windows, I am guessing those go away after the first wash? Also, my friend touched one of the windows last night and said it was dry (the bastard!).

 

Hot climate=2days
Cold climate=4days

 

You should wait 1 week or until the haze is gone and the tint is completely cured.

 

i waited 4 full days. if you could park the car so it sits in the sun all day, that will help as well

just look closely, youll see all the little circles all over the windows, once there all gone, you can roll them down.
