Yup, you guessed it!! It's that time of the year again where the days grow longer, the weather gets warmer, and all the birds do is eat, sleep, make noise, and S**T everywhere! 4 times this week, 4 spot washes, and 2 full car washes later, they must really get a kick out of watching us run around frantically to save that nice thin layer of clear coat!

I guess I will be laying out more alka-seltzer tablets outside this year..........

 

yeah tell me about it. when i went inside my car had nothing on it and when i came back 2 hours later i notice that my car got bombed by at least 12 different birds.

 

Bird poop is bad, but bug guts are worse.

my parking spot at work used to be underneath a light pole.. birds would sit on the light pole and crap ALL over my hood... one day I came out there and at least 50% of the hood was covered in crap.. i quickly got my spot changed

 

I saw a morning dove on my max the other day (hanging on the wind deflector of the sunroof) and I got so ****ed off because it took a dump on the paint so I waited till it got off the car and bang with the pellet gun. Pratice with live squrals pays off.

 

I wouldn't know. I've never tasted bug guts.

I wasn't referring to how bad it is for the paint, more like, how unbelievably nasty it looks when your front bumper and windshield are covered in yellow stains.

No, it was a Nissan Commercial. The car was a newly washed black max 97-99 model being chased by the pigeons. Someone here might have a link to it.

 

If you live in a Bluebird population area, they are the worst. Absolutely hammer an shiny surfaces. They'll scar your clearcoat by attacking themselves (the reflection). And I let them breed in my back yard...the ungrateful curs!

 

Just wanted to share a FUNNY (IMO) thing my bro said about birds a couple years ago...

His words...
"I remeber back when I was about 10 yrs old and I got my first B-B gun... I saw this blue-jay and thought I'd try her out. I shot it once and it fell out of the tree. But, it didn't die. I felt really bad. I had to shoot it again and again so it would stop suffering. Finally it died.
Now some 20 yrs later, I think back to that horrible day... I think back about that beautiful blue-jay... And if I could JUST go back again to that day....... I'D KILL EVERY ONE OF THOSE FARGIN' BIRDS!"

Pls don't flame... Just wanted to share a funny comment about birds. But, you DO have to admit... anything that doesn't have enough sense to land before it takes a crap, deserves disrespect, IMO.
