Looking to buy - want info on faults, etc

Hi there... I am looking to buy a used Maxima and am after any info on faults, recalls, known problems etc with various models. So far I have looked at a 1990 Ti with 150,000 ks and a 1997 Touring with 100,000 ks. Do either of these models have any major faults I should look for, etc when shopping about?

Generally what should I look for on a Maxima when shopping about?

I am in Tasmania, Australia so not sure if that makes a difference.

Cheers

Tony

97 Touring has factory alloys, spoiler, ABS, maybe firmer suspension, etc and probably a trim upgrade...

90 Ti is top of the range with leather electric seats, electric sunroof, climate control, etc....

It sounds like the Touring= SE and the Ti= GLE, in the U.S.
