What size tires will fit on 18x8.5

What is the minimum width that would fit on a 18x8.5 inch wheel.
Will 215/40/18 or 225/40/18.

225/40 minimum.... dont even bother putting 215

you should go with 245/40/18 more rubber is better

it also depends on the offset, you can even run 255's if you have the right offset

Ya some people here have 245's and no problems.

On my Mille Miglia's I had 245, although they were 18x8 don't know if that makes any difference, and no rubbing here.
