0103 Coolant Temp Sensor replacement

0103 Coolant Temp Sensor replacement

How difficult is it to cahnge the Coolant temp sensor on a 95? Jsut wondering, b/c my cel turned on yesterday and gave me a 0103.

There are two sensors, one for your dash and one for your ecu. They are both located in stream with each other, circled in the pic.

Since you got the CEL, it's the larger of the two. I think it's the one closest to the rear of the car.
Now is a good time to flush the radiator being that you should drain some of the fluid prior to removing the sensor. Some people have been able to change it without draining the fluid, but it's suggested in the chilton.

Just unplug and remove the old one and replace with a new one. Pretty simple.
