Just out of couriosty, like if i am behind anothe maxima either same gen or not, and turn (put on) my signal , why does it flas at different rates.? Like for example if i am behind another 3rd gen , that person turn on his turn signal, then i turn on mine and try to make them sycronize, yet the dont. Yes i have tried searching. All i cam up with was craig b mod on turn siganls that every posted on like 50 Pages

 

I think it means your bulbs are at different lengths in there lifetie so they flash at different rates.

ok if that is correct so theoretically if two maxima put the same bulbs brand new out the box, then it should flas at the same rate?? it just bugged me that if they mad the car the same way over and over why wouldnt it flash the same way over and over... lol.. its just a stupid question taht was bothering me for some time.. thanks

 

yeah thats partially it, There is someway in the relay to change the flashrate, not exactly sure if that is right. But when a bulb is at the end of its life i heard it flashes really fast.

I think you have bigger worries than "difference in turn signal flashers" if you sit behind other Maximas and try to synchronize your turning signals with them. Whats worse, when you can't it bugs you!

can't you get some LEDs to replace the signal bulbs? i mean there's no filament to light up or anything so the wouldn't it blink faster?

 

get a hyper blinker from http://hyperblinker.com/ and wu'll your blinker will blink like 10 times while the other car's only blink once. I had one but it blinks too damn fast!

^ Cops don't appreciate having seizures as a result of a riced out turn signal. I find them somewhat annoying as well.
