How many cans of paint to repaint a rear bumper cover?

As stated, how many cans of primer, metallic paint and clear-coat would be required to paint the rear bumper cover?

P.S: Each can is 12.5oz

It's easy, just a 6 step process.

Step 1 go to auto parts store and check their policy on returning paint products, some stores will give you money back while others give your store credit. Mostly only on paint products.

Step 2 buy X amount of primer, paint and clear coat

Step 3 keep receipt

Step 4 go to town on bumper

Step 5 if more products are needed, buy more. If not, return what's not used

Step 6 stand back and admire or frown at your work

Thanks for the replies you guys. I was planning to just buy the spray cans avaliable at paintscratch.com. Those are the ones that spray out directly from the can. Unless of course you have a better recommendation method for me to do this? All help is appreciated.

Well, if I do attempt it, hopefully it'll be a after i'm done

Whatever you end up doing, make sure there's enough flex agent mixed in with the paint. I'm not sure of what the Website offers but they probably have something with flex in it for bumpers. If you don't have any flex agent and try to use something akin to Krylon, you'll have crackedand peeling paint in no time at all.

When ordering from Paintscratch be sure to order flex paint. It can be used on metal and plastic. I'm about to repaint my trunk lid and the paint they sent me didn't match correctly. I sent a sample back to them and they rematched the paint perfectly.

They say one can should cover 6 sq ft so 2 cans per bumper should be plenty.
