sub hook up

sub hook up

im hooking up a sub to my car. should i hook it up to my deck or splice it to my speaker

you need to hook the sub up to an amp instead of running it off the deck. the watts rms that the deck puts out will not be enough to effectively drive the sub.

Yeah, with a sub to a HU, you would get practically nothing. You need an amp to hook it up to. What kind of sub do you have?

i was bored so me and my friend were tryn to hook his sub from his house up to my car. we had no such luck
