What is a 96 Maxima Body Kit that you recommend

Do you know of any hot looking body kits for a 1996 Maxima?
If so, where can I shop for one.
-Thanks

Alright thanks, I have one more question about that. Last time I checked their site I couldnt find the kit for my model year, would a different model year still be compatible?

i wouldn't buy it from them unless you want to pay $34227182392915. there are plenty of other places that have the same quality kit for cheaper. check CustomMaxima.com . they also have a great deal going on the skyline kit!

call me stupid, well actually don't...but how is the stillen kit installed, from my previous findings i heard/read that it's just adhered w/ double sided tape or something of the such. if this is true, how long have you guys had you stillens on and have you had any problems with any of the pieces coming loose. and if they're screwed or bolted or what not, forget i said a word.

thanks everybody,

J

I looked at custommaxima.com as suggested and I found out the following information: Fits 1995-1999 Maximas.
:::::Factory grille from 95-96 Maximas will not fit:::::, you can either replace it with a factory 97-99 grille or the 97-99 Trenz Grille. So should i go with the Trenze or factory? The trenz is 149, also they mentioned the skyline body kit is availible in Urethane... what plusses would i get with a Urethane over Fiber?

IMO the trenz grilles are unattractive, i'd go with the 97-99 if you were to take that route. but again, that's just my opinion. and if i'm not mistaken urethane is more susceptable to breaking than fiberglass. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

later,

J

the stillen is the "Urethane Kit" and the skyline is the "Skyline Kit" on custommaxima.com. you can shop for a grille on ebay, some of the .org members might them, or you can call your favorite nissan dealer. that's all i can think of.

later,

J

If you want the Stillen kit, i would get it from www.southwestautoworks.com It is cheaper there at $700 and I have heard that their customer service is better.

I second that. It really accenuates the lines of the car, especially on the 4th Gen cars. Wish I had the bucks for it.

Nope... Stillen is different from the Skyline. And i would recomend getting the urethane version of the Skyline, if that's what you like. Check it here at wicked designs

Urethane is nearly indestructible, and fiberglass is fragile.
