honda prelude

honda prelude

what a prelude do in the top end? basically stock too im asking..i got a couple of friends who tell me this guys prelude would smoke me on top end and maybe beat me off the line..i honestly dont know athing about a prelude..they just rant and rave about this hond-uh because its decked with a nice body kit and repainted and stuff..but its still stock but to them it has nice top end and could beat me at the line...well what could a prelude do?

im not sure really sure how stock would work but as of now, i spank any honday pretty damn easy! i think you should be able to beat a prelude.

Well they've made the prelude since 1979... there are a bunch of different preludes out there with a bunch of different motors. which one are you talking about.

assuming ur talkin bout the quicker ones, lets say the SRV 92 to 96 ones, or even the 99&up ones..
their not that great off the line with no torque, but launched well, they have some ballz off the line, never the less, their quite fast higher end, so he'll probably would own u than

preludes are pretty fast cars, stock vs stock is pretty much a toss up, that is if they are both stick,If he is auto you own his ***

They are pretty much equal, about the same horsepower to the wheels. I am an auto and Ic na beta one from a roll, so you should have no problem especially with good launch.

Contour SVT, Prelude Type SH, and the 4th gen Max are all pretty close to each other in overall 1/4 mile ability (although I believe the Maxima to have the overall performance edge). The Max is the torque king here, so if you launch well, you can take them.
