Anyone ever had the problem of your car stalling in second gear when coming to a stop. If I am driving along in second gear at around 20mp/h and I come to a stop in second gear with my foot pressed all the way down on the clutch, she stalls, and if she doesn't, the tach goes up and down like she wants to stall! She goes from like a 100rpm to like 400rpm. Anyone dealt with this or can make any suggestions as to what might be the cause of my car stalling in second gear when coming to a stop.

TIA

Just a thought, if it's idaling from 100 to 400 while at a stop you might want to check our TPS sensor.
Just a thought.

can I check the TPS sensor out myself?

or do I have to have it checked by an automotive technician?

Well I don't know how well you feel about working on your car. But if while running you unplug the TPS and it idles all crazy then your TPS might be good if it doesn't do any thing you might want to have it diagnosed at a shop or dealer. I've tryed this before on different cars and some times it works. But don't just take my word for it. Everyone has different ideas on how to do things. electrical or sensors are if'y even with a computer diagnostics. I would probably take the car in at least to get a diagnostics. i have a shop and I hate getting problems with electrical problems. you have to start somewhere so at least get it checked.
