I finally got my own Max...need opinion on this intake..

Finally got a 98 Maxima SE, pix can be seen on my webpage...havent posted on the board in a while...and rarely in the 4th gen forum bc I had previously looked at stuff for my dads 00 Max.

Anyway this is the Bomz intake I think...

http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...POAL-XXXX-CISX

It's FAR cheaper than the Place Racing, Cattman and others at around 200$+ Anything wrong with this intake? I've always thought an intake is an intake, just different filters...but the idea is the same for all. Just piping, etc. So I don't see any justification for the price difference..would this intake perform just as well as the Place racing and others? thnx

you can buy the same thing on ebay for less $. If you want a CAI, that one is fine.

i would get it if it were me. i bought the place racing when bomz didnt offer an intake. that one looks just like mine only polished.

this is a prime example of paying more for the same product such as budget y instead of a cattman stillen warpspeed y, brand name bull****, thats what your paying for a name.

good luck

so in your "opinion", pay 150+ for an intake is better than paying 30bucks to make one yourself?! gives you more gains no?! hmmm...
