Granted in that picture, the rear valance doesn't have a hole with the exhaust tip embedded in it like it should, but you get the general idea
(normally there is a port for the exhaust in it like this picture

Guess you are. Maybe it would look better on a 96. Makes the rear end look to boxy IMO.

^ It was supposed to be funny and serious at the same time, I think.

I don't really like how the muffler tip gets surrounded like that. Then again, im not really into any of the rear bumper kits / replacements available for the max but if I had to choose, I'd get the stillen. I honestly think maxima's (97-99) look good the way they are (besides the nesicary drop and red/clear tails + DC bumpers) They don't really need any extra plastic.

I don't really have an opinion on the vallence, it's not hideous nor amazingly good looking to me, but I agree with ch13f 100%.

i dont really like it too much, i think the only full body kit that looks good on the max is the sarona designs.

if i liked body kits, i would like that rear lip... i prefer the body kits/ lips that you can barely notice is there (doesnt stand out/ take over factory lines)
although i REALLY dont care for the fact that a muffler is supposed to go through the lip??? whats with that?

The valance in the photo above dont look very good because the car's riding on stock height and on 16's. If it were lowered with 17"s, it would look more quite different and more aggressive.

However, I prefer these valances from Ionic:

. I just picked these up along with the sideskirts for my 95 GLE. A stillen urethane front lip is also waiting to be painted and installed.

If all goes as planned, they should be in the mail to me now.

I like the sarona rear bumper, the new one looks even better now that it matches that little bend coming out of the rear wheel well.

I would have to say that about sums it up.

It doesn't look horrible, but it is a little too boxy looking.

I have the sides and rear for my car. I have the one piece and decided to hack a square cutout for the exhaust opening. It doesn't look bad. I still like the stillen and sarona rears better, buy hey $300 shipped for a set of painted ionic sides and rears was a great deal.

with apexi WS exhaust. You can't really see it (current)

With Borla universal exhaust.

For more pics, check out my site. I will add more pictures later this week

I'm with the first post, I think it's the BEST valence I've seen for 4th gen. The really rounded ones make the car look like a cartoon. I like the boxy body kits even on a round body style like 4th gen because boxy is more subtle therefore more stately/elegant.

It reminds me of an older Mustang GT. Looks like a big mobile box!

i dunno about u guys but i like the front lip from the Ionic kit ... it reminds me of ((i can't remember the name of the japanese company)) that makes body kits for drifter skylines in japan.. if anyone can remember post it up ... it begins with a "U" i believe. something like Usui or Usua or something.

I had my side skirts installed. they are scraping a bit so ill have to see if they can adjust the doors a bit. Also had this matched to a stillen front lip on my 95 front bumper. Will take photos at the end of the week.

That bumper has the exhaust coming out of it.... not a good idea eventually it will cause the paint to crack and the exhaust fumes to darken it.
