Corner Light Install.......not bumber light

Corner Light Install.......not bumber light

OK OK OK......I got my white 1157's for my corner lights....some1 said somehting about cutting the lower "NUB" on the bulb or something...no problem there....BUT! how do I put the bulb back just reuglar cuz I heard some wierd stuff..... is the install hard at all???

Please Help!

Cut the top nub and stick it in backwards. Only reason you need to cut the nub is so it'll fit in the slots backwards.

My undertsanding was the lower nub but hey I'll try it the bulbs were inexpensive anyway...thanks

If you cut the lower nub, it won't fit in backwards (for the 27 watt filament to be on). By cutting the top nub, you can insert the lower nub in the slot of the socket originally for the upper nub. Therefore 27 watt vs 8 watt filament burning. Look at it and you'll see how it works.

Just sotter the connector going to the bottom to the top and you dont have to cut any "nubs". It's much cleaner and if you ever change the bulbs you just have to put them in normally.
