Whats up! I need to know how to program garage door opener on the visor!

 

1. Read the owner's manual
2. Hold the old opener close (touching) to the homelink transmitter.
3. Press and hold the button on the visor and the old remote.
4. When the light flashes really fast it is done (10-60 sec)
5. Reread the owners manual.

 

I dont have an owners manual thants why i asked? thanks for the reply

 

If your garage door opener has rolling code technology, you need to press the learning/programming button for about 1/2 second (somewhere on the motor housing) then press the Homelink button. Do not press the learning/programming button for too long or it will forget all programming codes and none of the existing remotes will work.
