10+ for me

used to be 10+ for me....

but now my automagic is slipping a bit so i do it maybe a few times a week anmore

 

.......hmmmmm last saturday racing my brother-in-law in his Accord EXV6 Coupe home. We were on the highwayaround 12a.m. and we were punching it like crazy! we were neck-to-neck most of the time.

I usually do it once a week though. I hear that its good for the engine to be revved to its redline once in a while to burn off and get rid of some of the carbon deposits.

 

About 1 every two days.

 

I try to whenever I get the chance, but theres so much f'in traffic around here, I have to let go around 5k rpm

 

At least once a day. The sound of the VQ30 at WOT rocks.

Couple times a day (when I drive)...I love it too

The VQ is a sweet sounding engine when it's wrapping up past about 3K


With my old truck, WOT was merely in frustration trying to get the beast moving. Now it's purely for fun!

 

5-6 probably. If I had a stick I wouldn't need to as much since I'd have better control of acceleration. Will I ever stop talking about that? Probably not

 

id say about once a day for me. i figure i have to excercise it once a day for those few days when i call upon its power to work for me

NOT THE NORM....really...I'm very good. Redline like once a week.....I'm more worried about the high quality 3rd gen auto!

 

maybe once a week now ... plus it's winter here in Toronto ...so ...

I'm waiting 2 pick up my "on the way" items from my buddie in the states & then I'll prob start revving 2 WOT in the spring ... LOL

 

10+ a week, sometimes every light Boy Watch the RPMs go and Watch the GAS Needle come down.

For me it kinda depends... Now it's only 3 or 4... gotta baby the Blizzaks. Very soft tire known for excessive wear. Very good tire!

Summer when the RE92s are on... every chance I get. 10-20 times a day, pushing through corners one gear too short @ 5000 RPM then WOMP! Run it up through 3rd (have I told anyone that I just LOVE 3rd!!! )... WOW! I can't wait to get XGT Zs.

Though I agree that above 4500-5000 RPM, well how do I put it delicately, the Maxima is a well inhaled vehicle. That baby just sucks that air/fuel mixture. (now if only I can feed more to it!)

Driving is more fun when treadwear is not a issue.

C'mon... only 15 people go WOT? Most of our cars are broken in already... Don't you like to feel and sound of letting your car rip? VVVVRRRRROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

 

I'm in, WOT a few times every other day or so. When I get in the car without the wife I always let er rip. Then when I get some guy who's never been in a maxima the first thing I do is open it up.

The other day I did a complete stop on the freeway with this guy and his wife and mine, then pretended I was on the drag strip just to give him an idea of how quick it was.

 

4-5 times a day...usually when I'm on the onramp to the interstate.
The max is awesome!
