bad 60' time but still a decent run

Well I'm still questioning what I would have run this weekend....all my 60' times were varying between 2.35-2.4x and still getting 15.0xx....I think if I could get back down into the 2.2x I coulda broke 15's here is one run...

60' 2.438
1/8th 9.848
MPH 74.09
1/4 15.087
mph 94.18

I think the trap speed is there for 14's....correct me if I'm wrong.

A trap of 94 should be pretty close to get you into the 14s. Drop your 60' time and you'll be there.

that run looks very similar to my times the first time i went to the track.

i found that the worse my launches were, the higher my trap speed was...weird eh?

i got 15.084@93.37mph with a 2.40 60'
highest trap of the day was 95.00mph with a 15.1...and like 2.5 launch
that was with an intake only

last time i went with a ypipe, and my highest trap was 94.XXmph
weird that i got higher traps with just intake, than intake and ypipe

quite disappointing actually

but your car is definitely capable of 14's with a better launch.

94 mph is good enough for like a 14.6 with a perfect launch. Veetec (warren) ran a 14.7 at 92.xx mph stock. It is around 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile for every tenth in the 60 ft time. A low 2.2 60 ft time should be around a 14.6 for you.

14.6 was the norm when i was trapping 94 and change, 95 on occasion. 14.5s sometimes and even a handful of 14.4s stuck in there. work on that launch bro.
