Is there really any performance/flow difference between the stock GXE muffler and the stock SE muffler besides the single and dual pipes on them?

 

just the tips i would imagine

 

doubt it...

5th gen mufflers however have a variable flow flap that opens up at higher RPM

 

btw have you had any problem with the muffler/tip hanging too low from the bottom of the bumper? ive seen a few 3rd gens with 00-03 mufflers and some look like the tips hang way too low. I may do a 5th gen muffler when i do my exhaust next year

 

not at all...

it fits real nice with the rear valance...almost as if the two were made for each other
