I'm getting a stillen front spoiler put on pretty soon, and this will be my first car with any sort of aftermarket body accessory. I used to drive a lowered camry and know how to drive, but when it comes to jacking up the car what should be done? Obviously the jack has the capability of breaking off any aftermarket body panel. What about the rocker panels? Where do you jack if you have your car slammed and with a body kit?

well. even now with eibachs and the lip, i can't get up ramps, or use a regular floor jack to raise the car.

there are some 2 ton floor jacks that are "lowered" for performance vehicles, but it doesn't raise the car high enough to get your body under for like ypipe or o2 sensor work. etc.

what i usually do is take my friend's stock jack along with mine, jack up both sides of the car at the same time, (using chocks for the rear wheels) and once it's high enough, put the lift-blocks in (u know. the adjustable height thingies. i forgot what they're called) behind the little ledge under the car, and that's how i do my work...

the other option is just take off the front lip. it's pretty simple. i just have two screws on both sides holding it in..

hope that helps eric.
