h7 zkw help/ advice / writeup ?

i forgot what thread i read but it said something about a zkw writeup being made. is it out/ made yet? if its not out, does anybody know or good places in NJ (preferrably south) that do custom body work or can rebrace the headlights or do whatever needed to put these on. i can wire it as that shouldnt be too hard at all. i would like to do the body work myself but would like to prevent cutting the radiator support if possible. also i am not sure about mounting it as the headlight assembly for the euro spec h7 bmw headlights looks too big to fit in the stock headlight bracket. advice and or help of any kind would be appreciated.

ALso, would the dremel be able to hack the cuts if i do decide to go forth with installation. Or what tools would be necessary and or recommended if i approach this process myself. i'm just trying to pool as much info that i can to prevent doing something i may regret or that is unecessary to the car.

I used an angle grinder for my cuts and a Dremel for the "fine tuning". And I didn't really have to hack into the radiator support at all, but since you're doing the euro-spec lights and I have the us-spec lights, I'm sure the wider girth of the housing will call for a slightly different 'cut'.

you won't have to cut the frame. you will need to hammer some things out, and cut plastic...but just try to do it yourself.

i got mine off of ebay for like 229 + sh for chrome h7 zkw headlights with angel eyes. also if you plan on doing a headlight conversion you might as well try for the cefiro lights too they are in and around the same price range.
