even after starter car still clicks someone help

Alright i made a post yesterday about my car, it seems to start whenever it wants, sometimes after a few minutes sometimes it takes a day or 2 of sitting in the driveway for it to start, it makes no sense to me. so anyways i was told by a few memebers here on the org that it was a starter problem, so i took the old starter off and had it tested and sure enough it was the starter, so i come home put the new one on and guess what, same damn click , could it be a blown fuse for the starter or something like that cause i am at my wits ends here, someone help

check your batt cables make sure clean and tight...ok...check power connection at starter (lrg wire)..clean tight..has 12+volts...ok check switch wire....clean and makes proper contact....put your volt meter on the switch wire and have someone cycle the key a few times to ensure that you have power from the switch .....if all that is good ...you may have a defective replacement starter....you would not be the first

Check the battery too, I had a car once with starter problems, an when the starter finally went out, I replaced it but got the same thing. I had run down the battery trying to start it, and it just needed a jump. Worth a shot. I had this random clicking happen with my car, it is aggravating. I replaced the battery, starter, all cables, contacts, etc...never could get it squared away. Good luck.

if the problem persists than get your alternator checked out, your battery might not be recharging correctly
