Aluminum Dash Kit & Bezel Install
Aluminum Dash Kit & Bezel Install
Hey all,
I think my computer **** the bed the last time I tried posting this, so here it goes again...I was wondering if anyone knew the proper way to install a Synthetic Brushed Aluminum Dash Kit and an Aluminum Gauge Bezel. I remember reading some good "How To" instructions for taking apart the plastic in front of the gauges with pics, butI was unable to find it after a long time searching. I can also recall good info. on how to properly install the dash kit, but I could not find the instuctions either. If anyone knows how to install both these items, please post! If you have pics of these on a Black/Black interior, please post pics as well. I am looking forward to see how they will both look on my interior.
Peace,
MassMax

Looks like youre not getting much help. I can't tell you much on how to do the bezel, but with the dash kit you need to wipe all areas of the dash that will be covered with a cloth to get the grease, dust, armor treatments or whatever off the surface. I would use a leveler to make sure everything is straight before you remove the backing to stick it on. (I'm assuming the dash kit is mounted with 3m tape) press each piece on firmly and to be safe don't touch the kit for a day or so and make sure you don't hit any pieces with an object. Good luck...hope it looks good!
