Got a pair of questions for ya'll.

1.I am putting the altezza tailights on my black 99 max. Should I replace the bulbs in the back? If so what color? Does Amber show up on the break lights?

2. I want to purchase the Diamond cut bumper lights from custommaxima.com. I just want to know do they make the diamond cut corner lense so my bumper lights will match my corner lense? If so just put down a link so I can check it out.

First put those altezzas on ebay and get rid of them. Get yourself some red/clears, they are cheap and look soooooo much better on your car. plus you have a 99 so they are very easy to find. DC clears are personally much nicer than reg clears. you can buy them here on the org in the group deal or classified section a little cheaper than custommaxma.com. Thats my opinion, and I am sure you will catch a lot of hell on here about altezzas. Are they 1st gen or 2nd gen altezzas? big differencs. I am assuming 1st because you asked about bulbs. 2nd gen are LED. If you must use the altezzas, they should have come with a wiring harness for bulbs that plug into the car harness.

 

i disagree, i think the gen2 altezzas are nice looking, ,IF you open them up and paint the chrome CF GM part your car color =)

i plan on doing that eventually..

i dont like the clear insert mod too much, still looks too stock to me, only people that know it isnt stock is ppl who are nuts like us

 

I think Gen 2's are sweeet, i cant get them unless i change my trunk and bumper. But to put gen 1's on a 99 max is a siny sin sin.

I think they're called "bumpers" . The only altezzas that I like are gunmetal gen 2s, but only on black or maybe dark green Maxima's, all other colors should just go with red/clears IMO.

 

yeah... i agree with u... i'm a fan of the gen 2 altezza.. they look so hot at nice!

 

If you're talkin' G2 Alteezas, I got 'em on my BLK 99SE-L. You only have to replace the two bulbs (#1156) for your turn signals (unless you WANT them to be white!) so they'll be amber/yellow. The back-up bulbs you'll leave in, and you'll have 4 bulbs (#1157) leftover that you won't need.

My diamond-cuts should arrive 2morrow, so I'll let ya know what's goin' on there....

Well, i think someone caught my car in a couple of the NJ Meet photos & in the NJ Meet vid; mine was the dirtiest black Gen4 there.
