That it wasn't EVEN CLOSE!..... he-he... I was going home and this fruit-cake in a 300M was following real close, and I was flying. At the light he pulled next to me and he took off, I followed and caught up, passed him around 65mph, and by 85 had a car length in front. We caught some traffic, we zipped through traffic like a maniac, but as soon as we cleared he waited for me. We were going about 40mph, he took the jump, but since I already had it in 2nd gear (perfect)... I SMOKED him in a flash... he kept up till about 80-90, then it was all over by 95mph. We stoped at the next light but the guy decided that this is where he would make a turn (hint, hint... Looser!)

Needless to say, a car with over 250 HP, a 3.5L and more torque than my max, would be able to hang.... but NOOOOO.. The Maxx-s-ter is still Kicking ***.

HP to Weight ratio is different

I'm glade to hear that you put that 300M to shame, but the HP to Weight Ratio is better on the max then on the 300M. The 300M is a heavy car. I'm sure it was still fun to beat him, I sure wouldn't give up an opportunity to race a 300M.
