Those with Place Racnig CAIs

I have a 98 SE with the standard fogs. Has anyone put any additional holes in the fender plastic for better airflow or fashioned some sort of ram air? Has anyone done this at least for track purposes?

I have a prcai but i do not have a set of fogs. Im wondering if it will decrease performance if i put a set of fogs blocking more cold air entering the intake.

i have fogs but it doesnt matter. my entire plastic under the CAI is ripped off. it gets more air than I need. little risky though.

I live in north Florida. There is no way I would do that. I only put in the Cold Air tube when I go to track or when I feel froggy. I was hoping for some advice and to see if someone has fabricated something to increase airflow.

i didnt do it purposely. the clips came off and it rubbed against the tire at 70 and burnt a huge hole in it. getting a new peice.

a few people have rigged up something like, making a tube going from behind your left fog light, and extending to your filter, or putting the stock ram air back in, and cutting another fender wall hole to get air in there. honestly most people doing stuff like this have not seen any type of increase in performance as far as i know, so i dont even think its worth it. the way it is set up now is probably the best, but if your bored one day you can try to rig up the ram air. just dont take your plastic wheel well cover off other wise water will get in the filter and you have the pleasure of buying a new engine
