WTF is a CD Err F3... My non bose head unit is displaying this error
any of guys ever heard of this...I already tried a search.. No matches found.

 

 

If you tried to play a CD and get this error, it's because some CDRs aren't compatible or the session didn't burn right.

If you get this error and it won't play any CDs, time to go to the dealer.

 

There is a cd in the deck... It will not eject or play the CD
The cd is a CDR but it played fine for a couple days

I got this error this weekend when I put a CD-R in upside down. Doh!

My deck doesn't have any problems though.

 

I got the same thing, cept my player also had a problem where the CD got stuck halfway while it was being "eaten." Dealer sent it in for repairs...

 

This happened to my non-Bose unit last month during a road trip; when I put my CD in, I heard this "mechanical" sound (almost like the sound of a cassette player when play is pressed) then boom---> CD Err F3

It took my dealer nearly three weeks to order and receive a replacement head unit. Sidenote: I didnt realize how bad radio stations were until the loss of my CD player.
