Just got a 2001 Maxima SE yesterday. Absolutly love it =) I've only been driving it the for last 24 hours, but I've noticed that for some strange reason, every minivan on the road has to try and race me. Maybe it just me, i dunno. But, thats what I noticed. For example, I'm coming home from work tonight. Just minding my own buisness. And this chevy caravan pulls up next to me in the left hand lane at a stop light. Light turns green and I go off on my way. Suddenly the van comes FLYING up the left hand lane. Flying? Wait no, the van comes CAREENING down the lane. This whole time I'm just going the speed limit. I'm not one to race. Im looking at him like "Damn someones in a hurry." hehehe. Earlier this morning a Hyunda Elantra pulled up neck and neck with me as I'm driving to class. I just looked over at the driver and laughted. A Hyunda Elantra! Not even worth my time. =) Other then the strange people on the road, the maxima experiance is great!

 

Congrats on the new purchase! Make sure you have lots of self control or else you'll be influenced into modding your car...

 

I noticed the mini-van thing too when I got my Max. Its weird...

 

Yeah, the minivan thing is a bit odd, but true... I thought that I had reasonable self control, at least unitl I started looking around here -- been looking to make some 'purchases' for my car lately.
