15" Steel beater rims... OK on 2k2??

i have a set of 4 winter tires that i can pick up for free, but they're only 15s... i dont think it would be a problem to get 15 inch steel wheels and put the tires on those just for the winter of course... my turenzas dont cut it in the snow, so i need a cheap alternative. only potential problem i can think of would be some part of the brake hitting the rim if the rim isnt big enough. anyone have advice??
