What kind of wheel polish do you use?

What kind of polish would you guys recommend for the stock alloy 16" wheels on a 4th gen se? I have been using metal polish that works great, but after a week or so a blue film appears on the rims. I know there are a lot of wheel polishes out there, but which one works the best for you?

Mothers Aluminum/Magnesium Polish. $3-4 for a can the size of a baby food jar. Works well on metal under the hood too.

Thanks for the help everyone. My max will be getting a wash today, so I'll try one of the polishes you recommended.

Woah, wait a minute here!

First question is: Are 4th Gen SE Alloys clearcoated or painted, or are they really genuine bare-metal polished wheels? I believe most OEM wheels these days are usually clearcoated...

I also see a lot of products being listed, but some of them aren't polishes and the other metal and aluminum/mag polish are too harsh if they're painted. If they're painted, Mothers sells a clearcoat wheel polish, or you could just treat them like paint on the rest of the car.

Bman, yes the wheels are clearcoated just like the paint on your car is. However, MarcusJY and I have Klassed our rims and it actually lessens the work needed to clean them.

I have physically clayed and then Klassed the rims and the results are quite nice.
