Steering Wheel

Hi all,

I took good care of my 2k2 Maxima, always cover it with sun shed. But I found out today, the leather wraper of the steering wheel already start to worn out.

Does anyone has same problem? Is it because of the bad quality of the wraper itself? Is it possible to get Nissan dealer to fix it for free?

thanks a lot for the help,

No problem's on mine. I have one of the earlier 2k2's from the Factory (build date July 2001). It's already been through 2 Houston summer's and the leather steering wheel cover is as good as the day i bought my Max

Did you bring your car to a carwash? I've heard of some carwash places that use "leather conditioners" that do nothing more than damage and/or slowly degrade your stuff after a while.
