Go find a 3rd gen Maxima SE (VE30DE) and get the vacuum canister and mounting bracket off one. Not only does the bracket let you mount the canister in the same location as the 3rd gen, giving a stock look, but the canister is a reinforced plastic resin that holds up perfectly to heat. I've had no zero nada problems with mine since I got it. Cost me $25 at a junkyard only because they had a minimum-$25 policy. Oh, also get the checkvalve from the 3rd gen also. Canister doesn't have one built-in.

kev THAT's what I got

I replaced it before the pic.. although I did not get the bracket

I was too tired..

But it still only works anout 30% of the time. I do NOT see the light come on the RPM switch.. so I guess it's a rpm signal thing. I do not know what to do.

I want to try another switch.. but just don't wanna be a guinea pig ( again )

and ran a chevelle and beat it.. about 1/8 mile from a dead stop.. he claims 270 WHP

nismo/hype- I had it back near the TB. Just behind the FSTB.

HOWEVER, with 1900 deg F heat coming ouut my turbo it was in a direct path for the heat to be blown on it

slizan- you gonna be at the meet today ???
