when I open and close my car blinkers are supposed to blink, they DON”T.

I need help!
I have 2002 Maxima, and of course my HID headlights got stolen about 4 weeks ago (3 weeks after I got my car). Everything is fixed by now but when I open and close my car blinkers are supposed to blink, they DON”T. I don’t know what’s wrong I took my car back to the mechanic but he told me that it is an alarm issue. Nissan said that it will not be covered under warranty because it wasn’t Nissan’s fault. Do you have any idea what is it? I checked all fusses, they look fine to me. Help !!!

When you open and close your car? Are you talking about the doors or when you click on the arm/disarm button on your alarm?

when I click arm/disarm button on my alarm. Do you think blinkers are not connected properly? BTW they do work, it is just when I arm/disarm an alarm they don’t blink.
Yes, door lock and unlock.

Look at the back of your key fob. Have you tried this?

I am going to hunt you down, and kill you. There are directions on the back of you key fob. Press both the lock and unlock buttons for 2 seconds, then try it again.

btw, I'm not really going to hunt you down.

Isn't it that whether the horn beeps or not, the blinkers should still give you visual indication if you've armed your max or not?

In his case, it does seem like there's something wrong somewhere.

I'll let you know.

When you lock the doors in silent mode, the blinkers blink, but when you unlock them, they don't. It's probably not the problem, but I figure it's a place to start.

Nissan told me to check the fuse. Do you know where else should I check, I checked all fusses inside, they are fine.
BTW, do you know how they disarm my alarm before stilling my lights?
They just disconnected one of the horns and cut the wire to another one, without opening a hood. They did it through the grill (there is enough room there to stick in fingers and disconnect the horns.) and if you cut the other one and alarm will not sound. Any ideas how to prevent it from happening again?

2002/2003 fobs dont have directions on the back. but it doesnt sound lke that is the problem. if the horn honks like he says then the lights should flash.

when did this problem start? when you got your headlights replaced?
who fixed your car when the HIDs got stolen?
do you have HIDs in there now or did you put 2000/2001 headlights in?
do you have an aftermarket alarm or is it just the nissan factory alarm?
