Sure I love the Carrera too, Marinello yep, but I cannot get one in the near future. So realistically speaking, my 2-year out dream car would whatever flavor of the BMW 530 is available in 2003. I know I wouldn't spend the money on the 540, too young to waste that much on a car. I find that with new toys we tend to let other things slide, such as relationships or career, we go easy on ourselves once we get it. Let's face it, the "R" belongs up and to the left. If it weren't for the age of my car (2yr10mos) I'd get a new 330 one right now!

Yeah, I'm thinking BMW next too. Although it'll probably be more than two years out and I have no idea what it'll be but...I test drove a 99 535 wagon a few months back just to cop a feel. It was nice but for the price I found so many ammenities missing, it was sorta plain for so much money.

My impression is that BMW's are less problamatic today than say in the late 80's early 90's. Am I off base here or what? At least they have better warranties today, but then so do most cars.

I think........

I would like a used M5. By that time it would have been out for a few years, and you could get a used one for a good chunk less than brand new. That's what a buddy of mine did with a Viper.

Also there might be some good mods available for them by that time(S/C)...hehehehe

S2000!

My next car will be the S2000! I'll probably keep the Max for regular commutes (probably drive it into the ground) but my fun car will be the S2000.

lets say another 3-4 years......

either a '02 Sentra V-spec, '99 black Max SE, and maybe even a '00 V6 Accord w/ of course the usual bolt-ons to back it up!! not shooting too big yet, but if I am making good money by 2005 or 2006 I'll shoot for a beamer(the new M3's are sweet!!), I've loved those cars ever since I used to go with my friend to work sometimes at VOB BMW!!!
